2026 RICHMOND HILL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
October 26, 2026
Choose how you'll vote, online or in person.
Voter Information Packages (VIPs) have been mailed to residents on the Voters' List. Your package contains important voting instructions, including your Voter ID and PIN for online voting.
Keep your package handy and review the instructions before voting begins October 20.
Voters can attend any Vote Centre to vote by paper ballot, use an online voting station, or request a change to the voters' list (such as adding their name or updating/correcting their information).
The City will have 7 Vote Centres. In Oak Ridges the Vote Centre is at the Oak Ridges Community Centre.
No Voter Information Package? You Can Still Vote!
If you are eligible to vote but haven't received your VIP, you can still vote in person at any Richmond Hill Vote Centre on October 24, 25 or 26.
Bring valid identification showing your name and address. Election staff can help verify your information and add you to the Voters' List if necessary.
Prefer to vote online? Contact Richmond Hill Elections at 905-771-5555 or elections@richmondhill.ca for assistance with your voting information.
